Highmark Walk For A Healthy Community
The Walk for a Healthy Community is a fundraiser that benefits local health and human service agencies in the Northwestern Pennsylvania region, such as Presbyterian Homes.
Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield underwrites the cost of the walk so that 100% of the moiney raised by walkers goes directly to 2009's 26 participating organizations.
Mark Saturday, June 6, 2009 on your calendar and start gathering friends, family members, neighbors and co-workers to join you in walking to ensure a healthier community. If you can't participate in the walk, please consider making a donation to support this event. Make your check payable to: Caring for Life, with a memo for the Highmark Walk. Mail to:
