Caring for Life and Charitable Giving

Presbyterian Homes has made caring for the elderly a matter of human dignity for over 65 years. Every year Presbyterian Homes provides an average of $600,000 of charitable care for residents in financial need.

By committing financial support to Presbyterian Homes, your gift will ensure that our residents will receive the comfort, dignity and independence they deserve. With your help we are looking forward to continuing this long tradition.

As the number of elderly people in need increases, the necessary funding to cover the cost of providing their care increases. Most people don’t know that Medicare and Medicaid do not cover all the cost of our residents needs. Your financial support helps to provide assistance with: subsidy for room fees, payment for medical services and equipment, prescription services, personal care items, needed clothing and transportation. Donations also help with identified capital enrichment needs for our facilities, to ensure the safety and well being of those we serve.

Capital Enrichment

Donations for Capital Enrichment ensures our residents have proper facilities, equipment, and care. Donations for Capital Enrichment can be specified by the donor, for example, your donation can be used for: activities, equipment needs, social programing, or building improvements and expansions.

Endowment

Caring for Life is a program where your financial gifts are deposited in a fund. The interest from this fund is used to cover the cost of providing care to residents in need.
