Employment & Volunteer

Employment Opportunities

At Presbyterian Homes, we believe there’s a special satisfaction in working with older adults. It stems from the knowledge that we are applying our skills and knowledge to help our residents enjoy life as fully as possible.

In order to do this job, the right way, first you have to love it, working with older people is a very unique job that requires you to be passionate about it. Also, for our clients, it is very important that you show passion because these people want someone nice to take care of them. To work with people who have special needs every day, you will need to have the certain education to know what to do in some situations.

Employment OpportunitiesIf you have the passion and commitment to make a difference every day, we would like to talk with you about joining our team.

At each of our communities – Elmwood Gardens in Erie, Manchester Commons in Fairview and Oakwood Heights in Oil City, Pennsylvania – you’ll find a place to turn your passion into action…a place where you are encouraged to become a part of the tapestry of excellence we weave to serve our residents and their families.

Volunteering Opportunities

At each of our communities – Elmwood Gardens in Erie, Manchester Commons in Fairview and Oakwood Heights in Oil City, Pennsylvania – you’ll find a place to turn your passion into action…a place where you are encouraged to become a part of the tapestry of excellence we weave to serve our residents and their families.

In case you are not interested in working for us professionally, but rather volunteering, then we are more than happy to take your offer because we need people like you. Every little help and time that you can volunteer here is very appreciated.

Presbyterian Homes offers many volunteer opportunities for both individuals and groups. A program can be developed to meet your needs, as well as the needs of our residents. Whether you are able to share one day a month or even one hour a day, your time spent at Presbyterian Homes is invaluable to our residents and staff.
